Yes-Act Program

The Youth Engagement in Social Action Program (YES ACT) engages youth to take the concrete action in democratization and sustainable development processes. To through this program, youth are given the opportunity to improve their meaningful engagement in utilizing their civil and political rights through activities of youth led initiative projects, constructive advocacy, and strategic partnerships. These activities sharpen their social conscience, strengthen their community or country ownership, integrate their responsible citizenship into their society and sensitize other people for their country development.The four projects, CYF, YIPSA, EI and CC, contribute to the objective of the YES ACT program.

The Cambodian Youth Foundation (CYF) aims to mobilize technical, moral and financial support to sustain consistencies of active engagement of youth in social, political and economic activities towards the sustainable and equitable development of their country.

Through Youth Initiatives for Political and Social Action (YIPSA), youth gain more opportunities to exercise their civil and political rights to promote community development and democratic society.

Youth Mobilization for Good Governance on Extractive Industries (EI) aims to empower youth to exercise their rights and roles as citizens in democratic society to promote transparency and accountability of revenue management from extractive industries in Cambodia.

Youth Movement for Climate Change Response Project (CC) aims to engage youth in responding to the impacts of climate change and to empower them to take actions toward sustainable use of natural resource and environmental management through public forums, youth exchange, exposure trips to communities, campaigns, radio programs, tree planting event, capacity and etc.
