The Youth Resource Development Program is currently recruiting 10 volunteers (5 women) to work for at least 6 months (part time or full time) in Phnom Penh.
Job Title: Program Assistant Volunteer
Location: Phnom Penh
Duration: Start in February or earlier for at least 6 months
Working hours: Part-time (morning or afternoon hours possible) or full time possible
Summary: The future Program Assistant Volunteer (PAV) will perform a variety of tasks within one out of 5 projects, that YRDP’s YES-Act Program and YIELD Program execute. Regardless the project, the PAV will be responsible for assisting in coordinating logistic, administrative and organizational tasks that will be assigned by the respective Project.
There are 2 PAV positions for each of the 5 different projects available:
- Youth Investment for Employment and Leadership Development (YIELD) program
- The Cambodian Youth Foundation (CYF) Project
- Youth Initiatives for Political and Social Action (YIPSA) Project
- Youth Mobilization for Good Governance on Extractive Industries (EI) Project
- Youth Movement for Climate Change Response Project (CC) Project
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Project in organizing meetings, trainings, youth dialogues and forums, workshops, exposure trips and internal events
- Engage youth to join YRDP event/training by contacting them on the phone and online platforms
- Join and support field trips
- Write reports of the activities
- Write meeting and workshop minutes
- Assist PO to facilitate on database tracking
What we are looking for: YOU
A student or graduate who is studying in the field of economics, environment, law, sociology or any other related field. She or he should be willing to travel to provinces and work eventually at the weekend when needed.
