EYEs Program

Through the Empowering Youth for an Equitable Society program (EYES), youth gained capacity to utilize their civil and political rights as responsible citizens.To reach this objective, youth are required to engaged in house and outdoor activities through two main projects: Civic and Political Right Education for Youth (CPREY) and Peace Building and Reconciliation Engagement for Youth (PBREY). The outdoor activities engage youth in leaning about the reality of communities especially the impacted communities by all forms of development and governance. In addition, the youth are encouraged to cultivate positive moral and ethical behavior, through building and enabling an environment on the education of social conscience.

The CPREY increases social and personal competencies of youth through engaging them in training courses on Personal Development, Democratic governance and active citizenship, Public Forums, Youth Exposure Trip to Impacted Communities, and Inter-Generation Dialogues.

The PBREY enhances youth capacity and their social moral and ethical behaviors in peace building through engaging them in training courses on Conflict Transformation and Resolution, Active Non-Violence, Inter-Ethnic and Inter-Faith Peace Building, Peace Building and Reconciliation through History Reflection and other peace building activities of national and regional networks.
